Meet Christine G. Gallant: The Heart Behind the Poems

I come from Greenfield Park, a little town south of Montreal, Quebec, and I carry those small-town memories with me. As a retired mother and grandmother, I find beauty in simple scenes, quiet thoughts, family stories, travel, photographs, and the feelings we often forget to name until life speaks softly.

I used to believe poems had to rhyme, because that was the world I knew. Then a writing course with Coach Janna Lopez helped me see poetry with fresh eyes. Since then, I have been writing from real life, inviting readers to pause, smile, wonder, and feel a little deeper.
